I am so sorry that Michael and Emily have ended their relationship. It must have been very difficult to sustain! They had months apart with so much pressure from every direction. "Fame" can be a brutal taskmaster and so often there isn't room for a private life.
I think that they are wonderful caring people and that the demands from both of their careers took its toll...Michael needs a loving base to come home to after an exhausting tour and I thought Emily could fill that role. Apparently, she did for three years! But she needs recognition too, Michael is so overwhelming that it must have made her feel like she was living in his shadow. Sometimes love is not enough!
I hope that both of them can move on and can find happiness in their lives. Michael seemed to love her very much, he was always so proud of her. I watched them at the Junos, he sang "Everything" to her in the audience.
