Interested in what part of Italy Michael's grandfather was born and emmigrated from. Buble sounds like a French name.
You`ll never find another love like mine is one of the greatests live perfoamces ever!!!! Laura Pausini and Michael Buble together are terrific!!! They really rock!!!! I like Laura Pausini and I like Michael Buble too!!!
Arrivederci Felipe Gordon Benavente Chile
What happened to the terrific video of Michael and Laura Pausini? I agree it is one of the best videos around. Their voices just blended together, such a phenominal performance. Why do you take some of the greatest videos off?
Maybe you want people to buy the DVDs. I have already bought them but still like to see them on my computer for quick reference. How is Michael feeling today? Is he getting better? I hope so, we fans worry about him. He just did too much on his 45 day tour, no one could stand up to that. I hope his mother, Amber, and Emily give him a good talking to, along with taking care of him, of course. I am so mad at that Los Altos guy who said Michael was drunk at one of his performances. He was sick....that was a mean thing to say. Michael would never appear drunk, he loves and respects his music and fans too much! It was irresponsible of that guy to print that without knowing the full facts. Take care, Michael, you have many fans pulling for you to get well. Dolcemente, Joyce
Hello Tommy:
I notice that you still own the Website! Great, no one else could take your place. I was so disappointed when you were trying to sell it. It takes a very special person to be able to give it as much attention and caring as you have. There is no doubt that Michael is an exceptional artist!! He has it all, brains, talent, good looks and a terrific sense of humor. I have been tracking his career from the time that he was entertaining in night clubs to his present touring around the world! What a waste it would have been if David Foster hadn't discovered him at that wedding. The two of them together are an unbeatable team!! What a great story, they should make a movie of his career!! There is one big worry, however. That he will overdo and burn himself out...although he is young, ambitious and strong....wouldn't it wiser to slow down and "smell the roses" along the way? I know the fans are very demanding but shouldn't he look at the whole picture and be more careful because there is no doubt that he is going to be around for a long, long time!!! Talent like his doesn't come along but once in a lifetime! I am looking forward to seeing him when he comes back to Austin, Texas, the "Live Music Capital of the World". I missed him the last time that he was here but I won't let that happen again. The 55,000 students at the University of Texas won't miss seeing him either! The Frank Irwin Center is saving a spot for him! And tell him to plan to be here for several days instead of just one. Keep up the good work, Tommy, sorry that I had to decline the offer of buying "Buble Nation". It was such an honor for you to offer me the opportunity to buy it. However, you would be sorely missed if you gave it up. Dolcemente, Joyce

If Music is the stairway to Heaven, Michael has his foot on the first step when he sings "You and I". The words and the melody are so beautiful that they make me cry every time. My Husband and I decided that it would be our song. It is as if it were written for us.
Thank you Michael, for selecting that song to sing. When I first heard you, I couldn't believe it because the words fit us perfectly. We met in church and God did bring us together. Bless you for bringing such joy to all of us. The eyes are the mirror of your soul and your goodness shines through in them. Dolcemente, Joyce
Dear Michael:
I was so disappointed that you didn't appear on Dr. Phil yesterday when he had David Foster on. Where were you? You were soley missed! I see that you are going to So. America next. You will take that place by storm, they love good music!! But watch out for those women, they will hug you to death!! I think I told you that every place I go in Austin, the music in the background is one of your records. It makes me feel so good to hear my favorite singer. I like your new entro on www.michaelbuble. That version of "Call Me Irresponsible" has got to be the jazziest number on the planet. I defy anyone not to get into it totally! Of course, "You and I" is #1 on our hit parade! It is the favorite song for my Husband and me! It could have been written just for us. He is ill at the moment and I miss him so much. So I put on this record and he feels so close to me! Michael, do you really know how much joy you bring to everyone? Not hearing you sing would be like a day without sunshine! Just keep your foot on the first step because your "music is like the stairway to Heaven"!!! I feel that we are related somehow, maybe in another life! It is the strangest feeling. Take care on your next concert. It will be the Holidays soon and you want to be well so you can enjoy them. Dolcemente, Joyce PS: Love your Christmas album!!
Dear Tommy:
So many people write to Michael to tell him how great he is. And he is GREAT but so are you! Your devotion and hard work in keeping up the bublenation Website is certainly appreciated. I know how demanding it is. I hope that you still own it and will continue to keep it all for yourself. Anyone that doesn't know Michael could give it the personal attention that you do! I am sure that he appreciates you. It is the "day to day" contact with Michael through you that keeps the fans in touch, all the advertising in the world could do that! So keep on going! And here is a big "pat on the back" for great work well done!! Dolcemente, Joyce
Dear Michael:
I have heard that it is so cold in Vancouver where you live. So you know first hand how you have to bundle up and stay warm. Tonight, we are having a hard freeze in Austin, Texas which is rather unusual for us. I tell you what I am going to do, bundle up in front of the fire, drink some hot chocolate and put on a bunch of your records. That should warm the place up especially "Fever". It is one of my favorite songs of yours. Your performance on your PBS special was so phenominal, I have never seen a better performance anywhere, anytime!!! You should have received a "special Grammy" for that one. Your every gesture and movement coincided with your wonderful band. You must have really practiced for that one. If you never sang another song, that one should go down in the Music Hall of Fame. I saw a interview where you said that you never watch your performences. Listen, Michael, why do you think thousands of people pay to see you and you have sellout performances? You are much too hard on yourself. I hope that you get over that because you seem so confident on stage and you are simply terrific. There is no one like you. Everyone loves your singing and you, it isn't strickly your good looks, you are a great entertainer!!!!! The very first time that I saw you I was overwhelmed. Sinatra used to be my favorite singer of all times. I used to listen to him every day and saw all of his movies. But, now hear this, you are "much" better than Sinatra!! He can't come close to you, you have such mellowness to your voice that it brings tears to my eyes every time you sing a love song. As for Dean Martin, forget it. He isn't even in your class. And you have more class than the two of them put together!! When are you coming to Austin, Texas again? Since I missed your last performance in 2008, I am going to reserve a seat on the front row. I will be the one wearing the big "white ribbon". Ha!! Had better sign off, some of your other fans may want to write you. Dolcemente, Joyce
Dear Tommy:
I noticed that you still have removed most of Michael's videos because of terms of use violation. How are we going to see Michael if we can't bring them up? Why show the caption, if you are not going to let us see them? I don't quite understand that!! I like your website the best because I used to see his videos but almost all of them have been removed. My, Michael has been in LA a long time. His new album must be fantastic if he and David Foster have to work so long and hard on it. I know he likes to reinvent himself ever once in a while. But the fans just love to hear anything he sings. He could sing the yellow pages and they would all swoon! He can't do anything wrong! But I think it is good that he is getting more rest from all his tours. That must be a killing pace!! But he is probably working his head off even now. Do you ever get to see or talk to him? If you do, tell him that we are all waiting for him to appear again, he has left a void in our lives. We can't do without him!! I wish he would sing another duet with Laura Pausini, they were a perfect match!! So sorry that you had to take off that video.....wonder if they made a DVD of it. I wish you good luck with all your studies. When do you graduate? Dolcemente, Joyce
Dear Michael:
I finally got to see your performance on "Hit Man" with David Foster. He was so overcome trying to describe you that he almost broke up. He finally gave up and just announced "Michael Buble". He was right, there is no way to describe you! I have been writing you since 2007 and lose myself scrambling to find the right words to describe a phenomenem like you. I believe that you were sent from Heaven, so how can you describe something so etherial with a few mudane words. I have given up trying!! And to top it off, you have looks, brains, talent, humor, and the greatest voice that must have come atraight from Heaven. How can one man have so much and not be conceited? You handle it with great aplomb, even a little shyness. I think you are the kindest, sweetest man I have ever seen even though you try to act like you are tough. Anyone who believes that should stand on his head and hollar. I don't believe it, Michael so give up the act!! Am so anxious to see the new album, know that they have been working on it for ages. Michael and David, what a combination! Wonder how many albums he will sell this time. Isn't he already #1 worldwide now? How much further up is the top? I don't know where my letters end up? Maybe in the wastebasket but if only one person reads them, it will be a legacy to one of the greatest entertainers of all times! Dolcemente, Joyce
Dear Michael:
Congratulations, I read where you name is going to appear on the sidewalk along with others for the B.C. Entertainment Hall of Fame for 2009. That is great but there is only one thing.....I don't like the idea of people walking over your name! It should be up on a monument for all to see! I am looking forward to seeing you and Izaak on his show. You compliment each other! I still wish you and Laura would sing together again......that was pure magic! It was the best duet ever!! Are you going to tour the US this year? Hope you make it to Austin, Texas. You are a solid hit here, the UT students just love you. Saw the video where Jax stopped crying when he heard you sing. That was precious!! You delight people of all ages! Dolcemente, Joyce
Olá Michael,

Um abraço pra você,em nome do nósso Brasil e em especial do Rio Grande do Sul!!!
Dear Michael:
What is wrong with those Vancouver People? Are they hard of heaing? "Lost" is one of the most beautiful songs that you have written. It is my favorite over "Everything" and "Home"!! I can't believe that you didn't win for best single! Was so disappointed to see that. If you listen to the crowd when you appeared, that should prove what the crowd thought about "Lost" and YOU!! Your are so talented and LOVED!! When are you going to finish your album? Goodness, you have worked so hard on it. It must be the greatest one you have ever done. Can't wait until it gets out. Are you satisfied with it? That David Foster is something else. He is better than Gershwin or any of the others. You seem to be such good friends. When I think of him, i think of you. You just go together!!!! I am so glad that you are not touring these days. You just needed to back off from that for awhile. But when you tour the US again, please don't fail to come to Austin, Texas. I will be on the front row with the "white ribbon", remember?? Ha! Dolcemente, Joyce
Dear Michael:
Saw you at the Juno Awards in Vancouver!! Sorry that they didn't select "Lost" for the best single! There is something wrong there because it is the best song that you have written!! The words and music are just perfect. Have you written anything lately? I haven't written in several weeks. I am so busy going back and forth visiting with my ailing husband! I must tell you something that I just realized the other day. I wondered why I felt so close to you, it is because you and he looked alike when he was young. He had this dark wavy hair, gorgeous eyes and keyboard smile! And he was so kind hearted like you are, to know him was to love him!! He is a doctor, retired, but still wants to help people. You help people to feel good too. I read this the other day and it fits you completely: It is nice to be important but it is important to be nice! And that is what you are....."nice" to everyone. That is why everyone loves you! Can't wait until I see you perform again. Dolcemente, Joyce
Hi Michael:
Just saw a video today on your Website where you held and kissed a little girl in a white dress. You were so sweet to her and you can tell that you love children. I can't wait until you marry and have some of your own! Also can't wait until your new CD/DVD comes out about your Madison Square Garden performance. That ought to be a winner!! There can't be too much of you.....we miss you terribly. Hope that you are getting some much needed rest even though you are working on your new album. That touring can take the starch out of you even if you are young!! I check your website out every day, It is routine for me. Take care of yourself, Dolcemente, Joyce
Hi Michael:
Just pulled up your Website....and there was a preview of you new album ....."Madison Square Garden, etc". Can't wait until it gets in the stores. You looked so slim and trim but I liked you better with a clean shave. Let all the others have a "stubble", you were so clean cut before and stood out from the crowd!! You looked so sophisticated, far apart from those shaggy guys. It is OK to wear it for a short time to prove that you can look handsome anyway, anytime. But I am waiting until you get back to the Michael I knew! I have seen you twice on PBS with "David Foster and Friends". You really stole the show, even though there was a lot of talent on the program. That David Foster, he is something else. What a genuis,it takes talent to discover talent!! I thank the Man up above that he found you before you gave it up! What a loss that would have been!! I am so glad that you came along in my lifetime!!!! Time to go watch you on one of your CD/DVD's. It is like watching you in person on my new 32" TV. What a thrill...... Take very good care of yourself for all of us..... Dolcemente, Joyce
Good Morning, Michael:
How is the album going? Isn't it time for you to get back in the "arena"? Or do you need some rest first. We Fans don't want you to burn yourself out!!! I am looking forward to getting your "Madison Square Garden CD/DVD. Know that is going to be great. Am particularly eager to hear, "New York, New York". I noticed when you first startd to sing on your albums, that you sang soft and seductive but now are belting out more. I think you need to get back to your love songs, the ones that made you famous! I don't object to jazzing them up, but why don't you go 50/50. You look so slim and trim these days.....so handsome! But then you always were, handsome. I still like your clean cut look, get rid of the stubble, you don't need it!! Let the other "hairy" guys grow them. You always looked like you had just stepped out of the shower before! You are still #1 with me and always will be whatever you sing or however you look. You are the same phenominal singer with the fantastic presence on stage. There is no one like you anywhere.... so talented, handsome, sexy, clever and yet are the nicest person around. Everyone loves you! Just keep on, keeping on!!!! Dolcemente, Joyce
Hello Michael:
How is it going? I haven't written in several weeks, am trying to do two things at once. I live in Austin, Texas but my Husband is in a skilled facility in a town nearby. Have to keep the "home fires burning" as we are not living together anymore. It is the hardest thing that I have ever had to do in my life. If I couldn't hear you sing every day, I don't think I could make it. Your voice takes the heavy feeling in my heart away. I want to thank you for that. I am wondering how many people you do that for. I just wanted to say "hello" to you today and to tell you that you are still my favorite singer of all times. You are my Sunshine and my Moonlight! As I have said many times, "I am so glad you came along in my lifetime"!! Take care of yourself for all of us. Dolcemente, Joyce
Good Evening, Michael:
I just reveiwed a lot of your past videos and interviews. It is great to be able to see them. You have got to be the most entertaining person on the planet!!! You have everything, talent, personality, looks, and last but not least the greatest voice ever!! I am glad that you are "back in the arena" with all your performances. You are so much in demand. Now, you are going to Vegas for a one night stand. Everyone wants you, how can you be in so many places at once? Is the new album finished? You must have surpassed yourself. It will be out in the fall. Guess you will start touring again to promote it. Please don't overdo. But don't forget, you are coming to Austin, Texas so that we can see you again. The Irwin Center is holding a spot for you. Dolcemente, Joyce
Hi Michael:
I was afraid since you are not touring right now that you wold lose your momemtum! But you are on still on top with your Madison Sq. Garden DVD/CD on the billboards and appearing on everyones' TV shows. I see you everywhere, you must be the #1 favorite guest. You are looking good, Michael but when have you not looked good? I liked your brown suit and black shirt on Craig Feruson's show. It was so stylish. But you would good in a toesack! I didn't think Craig was very gracious but you didn't let it bother you. What does he know, he is so egotistical and silly!! I had stopped watching him, it is the same old rhetoric. He was right when he said he wondered why you would appear on his show.....guess you were slumming. No, you are fair and good to everybody. There is not a snobbish bone in your body. I think he is the snob!! Just loved your version of Stardust with Naturally 7. Your voice was wonderful as always. And you looked so happy again. I thought for awile that you looked sad after your breakup with Emily. Forget her, there is someone out there who will love you and make you happy again and this time it will last! It just has to happen, you are too wonderful a person to go through life without being married and having a family. Just Keep on Keeping on!! Carinosamente, Joyce
Hi There, Michael:
I see you are still bringing the house down! There is no limit to your talent. But how can you be in so many places at the same time? Your recent interview with Craig Ferguson really showed him up. You were more clever and funnier than he has ever been. Your humor is so down to earth and you aren't "always on". Your sincerity comes through and that is what people like. You can be funny, sexy, kind hearted and talented all at the same time. I think you were born with a multifaceted personality. I can't wait until your album comes out in Oct. I read where you wrote a lot of the music. No wonder it took so much time to make. That sharp mind of yours never stops working.....you should be a music producer but I am afraid that it would cut back on your singing and entertaining! That would be a tragedy. I saw an interview where you said you had a new girlfriend from Argentina. Don't you remember i warned you about those Latin American girls....they can be quite capitivating and alluring. They are so beautiful, they take your breath away. I know because I grew up in Mexico and we had many of them down there. They are gorgeous. But all kidding aside, maybe she will be your future wife. I think you need to marry, it is time, you deserve some permanent happiness. I wish only the best for you, Michael. You have grown into such a fine man and deserve the best in life. Doclemente, Joyce
Dear Michael,
"Hey, there, you with the Stars in your eyes"........ I am delighted that you have a new girlfriend by the name of Lolita. What a perfect name for your girl. She has got to be the "right" one at long last. I haven't seen her but am anxiously waiting for a glimpse of her. You know they say that "third time is a charm." Michael, I think she will have the patience and understanding that you need with your kind of lifestyle and career. I just have a deep feeling about her. Why don't you show her off? We would all like to see her. I just know that she will be beautiful in looks and in spirit. She would have to be if you selected her over thousands of women. I trust your judgment, Michael. I only wish happiness for the two of you! Maybe now you will consider marriage and many, many babies. You will be a wonderful father, you have so much love to give. Michael, dont miss this opportunity for lasting happiness! If you feel like it is right this time, go for it!! Dolcemente, Joyce
Michael!!!
You are back, it is about time! But you are leaving us again in Oct to go to New Zealand and maybe....Australia! They are going to love you to death. You are looking great these days, slim, handsome and healthy. You look happy again! I hope it is because of your new album and your new girlfriend. She is a looker to be sure! But do you want to go with another actress, the last time didn't work out very well? I saw you in an interview lately where you said you did not have good luck with your girlfrieds because you were "a bit of a rogue". It takes two to tango, kiddo. If they didn't like that in you (if that were true) why would they want to go out with you in the first place? Have you thought of that? Women don't know what they want! Don't let them confuse you, Michael, just keep on being your terrific self and one day some girl will come along and love you more than she loves herself. I know you "give" a lot of love, it is obvious in everything you do from your singing, to your family and people around you. I don't see any selfishness or conceit in you and I have been watching you for a long, long time. The only thing that I see wrong with you is that you swear a little too much. I think it comes from shyness. I know people your age do that a lot but it isn't really attractive although they don't realize it. They will as they get older and mature. Usually people swear when they should use other words to express themselves. You have a very good vocabulary and don't need swear words. Think about it, you might be offending some people who you want to impress. Enough of the analysis, Michael. I still think you were sent from Heaven wtih that thrilling voice. Where else could it have come from? If I would try to write a book about you, I would title it....."Enigma". Beause you are like mercury, that intangible substance that you just can't pick up or hold on to no matter how you try. Give youself some slack.....you will find great happiness in time! Don't rush through life, take it as it comes. I wish only the best for you and always have. Dolcemente, Joyce
Buenos Dias, Michael:
You had better bone up on your Spanish so you can sing love songs to your new girlfriend. How are you two doing? She looks like she has a cute personality besides being pretty. This morning, I have been listening to many of your standard songs and videos. What a smooth, beautiful voice you have. I don't hear you singing many of them anymore. Don't get too far away from them, this is what attracted people to you in the first place. It is all right to add all this new stuff but don't forget the Standards!!!! I think that "You and I" is the most beautiful song you have ever sung. It is a perfect CD, no one can come close to you, Michael. I like "Fever", "Call me Irresitible" and "Song for You" a lot too. "Fly Me to the Moon" is great also!! They are all great, what's not to like? You are so talented and seem to know what people like to hear. I get such a kick out of the time you forgot the words to one of the songs and ended up singing opera. You could do that too if you set your mind to it. Another Caruso? You are looking so handsome all but your stubble. I know you will shave it off after it becomes passe'. I know a lot of your paisanos wear them and that it is in fashion now. So I will forgive you. Your album will be coming out just about the time that I will be celebrating my birthday on the l7th of Oct. That will be my favorite birthday present. I can't wait to see the DVD and hear you sing those wonderful songs that you selected!! It will be a real treat! Take care and try to rest up before your concert in NZ. My, you have tremendous energy!! Don't worry, we won't forget you, how can we forget the best singer that has come up in many, many years! Carinosamente, Joyce
Hello, Michael:
Don't know what happened but my last comment this morning did not send. I was just commenting on the new song that you have written in you new album. I have played "Haven't Met You Yet" several times and I like it. It is bouncy, jazzy and cute. It is obvious that you are writing about yourelf and your past loves. Don't worry you will find the "right" one in time. Your career is the reason that they haven't worked out but I am sure you know that. Try to find someone who loves you more than they love themselves. You had so much unconditional love growing up and that is hard to compete with. I really liked the song that you were singing in the car. Did you write it? It was soft and romantic!! Lots of luck on your concert in New Zealand, not that you need it. What's not to like??? Dolcemente, Joyce I wish you lots of luck on your concert in New Zealand, not that you need it. What is not to like about you? I can't find anything.
Dear Tommy:
I am so excited I just found the DVD of Michael singing that wonderful duet with Laura Pausani. It is on Michael's Album,"Caught in the Act". It was such a thrill to find it after all these years!! It is titled, "You'll Never Find a Love Like Mine". I have never heard a duet like that one....it makes chills go up and down your spine! I also saw it on Michael's first appearance on PBS. That was a real blue ribbon winner. How are you doing? Still in school? I see you still own the Website. So glad that you didn't sell it. I am anxious to get Michael's new album that is coming out this month. Also to see him on Oprah and the Today Show. Then he will be off to New Zealand. Take good care and keep up the good work with the MB fansite. Dolcemente, Joyce
Say Michael:
I think it was cute of you to put your new girlfriend on the video "Haven't Met You Yet" with you. She is very pretty and has the nicest smile. Why are you keeping her under wraps? She is very popular in Argentina and we have read that you are going with her. You are going to have to show her off to your fans. They want to see her. You are not appearing in any of the magazines with her, why? Dolcemente, Joyce
Michael:
I noticed that Bob Rock produced you new album, "Crazy Love". I knew that it was very different from your others. I am afraid that it doesn't have that "touch" of David Foster. But I will wait and see! Do you think those scenes of you and your new girlfriend laying on the grocery store floor in each others arms is in good taste? I am afraid that you are going to offend some sensitive people. I didn't care for it. I felt the whole concept of the "grocery store" very odd!! You looked so handsome and your voice was great as usual. I am eager to see the rest of the album! Michael, I feel that you were trying to do something different but think you could have left the "grocery store" set out of it. It doesn't become you! I hope that I haven't offended you but fear that there will be other people who will feel the same as I do. But we fans still love you and your gorgeous voice. This is the only time I have criticized any of your performances! Dolcemente, Joyce
Dear Michael:
I shouldn't have criticized your video "Haven't Met You Yet" without seeing the rest of the album. I apologize, it was short sighted of me! It is just that we fans have you on a pedestal and don't like to see you in a compromising situation. We forget that you are young and full of life and like to experiment with different ideas. I think I missed the whole concept of the video at first. You were sort of day dreaming of your perfect love and all these scenes were supposed to depict that. Thus the ending when you walked out of the store and she passed by you without speaking to you. I guarantee you that if she had seen you, she wouldn't have past you by! How could she ignore your handsome face? Now, have I made up with you? I don't have to like everything you write or do. You had an agenda and I think you got your point across. I think you know what I mean. Keep on, keeping on! Dolcemente, Joyce
Hi Michael:
I watched you on Oprah today and you looked great, happy and handsome. It was wonderful to see your mother also, she is so pretty and fashionable. I enjoyed her comments about you. Was that your father when they panned the camera on her at the end? I have only seen one picture of him through the years. With such good looking parents, it is no wonder you are so handsome. The audience really liked you. It appears that they liked "Haven't Met You Yet". I am sure the new album will be a huge success!! I liked the picture of you and your girlfriend. So she doesn't speak very good English, that must make it tricky to understand each other. Do you have to take an enterpreter along with you? I will watch you on the Today show on the 13th. Will you be on the Dave Letterman show also? Dolcemente, Joyce
Dear Michael:
I tried and tried to bring up your interview with Oprah on the computer but it wouldn't come through. Maybe it did in other parts of the US it did but it didn't come through in Austin, Texas. They should know that! I did see the actual interview on TV and enjoyed it and so did the audience. What a tremendous following you have all over the world!! I played a sample of your songs from the album today and loved all of it, especailly "Cry Me a River". "Hold On" was beautiful, know that you wrote it. They were all great, you have still "got it", Michael. What is not to like? Just sit back and relax, you are still #1!!!!! Dolcemente, Joyce
Hellooo!
I saw you on the Today show when you talked with Meredith Viara and sang afterwards. I know you have a crush on her! It is obvious when you talk to her and I think it pleases her, she blushes. Michael, what possessed you to wear torn jeans? I have never seen you look like that. Then you were on the next show and sang again. You wore the same torn jeans, really Michael!!!! What is going on? You sang like a bird and looked quite handsome but those jeans...... OK, a difference of opinion again! I thought Sinatra was your inspiration. I have heard that your album is selling like "hotcakes". I am so glad but I knew it would. When do you go to New Zealand? Dolcemente, Joyce
Hello Michael:
CONGRATULATIONS! You are on top of the charts after 3 days, my goodness, what else are you going to do? I am sure that your appearance on the Ophrah and other NY shows didn't hurt any!! But all the credit goes to you for working so hard on the album for months and months! Don't know what you are going to do when you "go over the top", hope you don't fall off!! If anyone deserved it more I don't know who it would be! You are something else. I have always said that you were "not of this world"!!! I can't wait to buy your album, "Crazy Love". I hope they still have some copies when I get around to it. My goodness, I am still reeling with the news. This must knock those "pseudo" music critics out of their seats that have been critical of you!!!!! Millions of people can't be wrong!! You should try to get some rest before you go on your tour to NZ. But I see that you are still doing interviews like on the Rachael Ray Show on the 28th of Oct., etc.,etc. OK, I know you must still be up in the air! Your feet won't hit the floor for sometime. Dolcemente, Joyce
Hi Michael:
I am still dazed over you "going over the top" with your new album. Know you are too. Although I knew it would be good but....this good? I saw your CNN interveiw and was glad to see that you didn't wear your torn jeans, Michael. I liked the red soles on your shoes on your interview with Cathy, etc. they were cool!! You got embarrassed when Cathy started to compliment you, that is so cute! Imagine a person of your world wide fame and talent getting embarrassed! That is what I like about you, you are really humble after all, like I have always said! You call yourself "Mr. Humble" and that is what you are. I will watch you on the Rachael Ray show on the 28th. That will be fun, you and she will laugh the whole time! You are both so exuberant! I am sorry that everyone keeps bringing up your breakup with Emily. You can't forget it if they do that. I know you don't like it!!! You have been such a gentleman through the whole thing....no word from the other camp, I noticed! She has chosen a nice guy, hope she will be happy. But he is not in your class, Michael, no one is! It was interesting to see the studio where you slaved away all these months. I'll bet you were glad when that was over! All you do is work !!! I am going to check with my favorite music store and see if they have your album. I can't wait to play it on my "Blue Ray" recorder. Think I will send one to my Nephew who has just moved to Mexico City. They may not have it there yet. You look so happy these days! Your new girlfriend looks happy too. I wish the best for the both of you!! Today is my birthday, will spend it with my Husband who is in a nursing home. Wish I had your album to play for him. Take care and stay happy! Dolcemente, Joyce
Michael:
Saw the video where you showed the studio that you slaved away at your album for so long. You mentioned some "peacock fathers"! I am surprised that your album was such a success!! Did you know that "Peacock Feathers" are BAD LUCK! My mother told me that after I put some up in my house. I took them down immediately, and my luck began to change. Seriously though, Michael, I just played the preview of your Album and it is terrific. No wonder that it went to #1 in 3 days!! You sounded different in every song, you are so versitle! But I always recognize your voice, it has that certain quality. Hope that you are getting some rest before your tour! Dolcemente, Joyce
Dear Joyce: Get a life. Addie
Hi:
I read where you are in Europe and UK now doing a promotional tour. Will you go to New Zealand from there? Will watch you on the Rachel Ray Show on Oct. 28. She is so much fun, you are a blast together! Saw where you went "Double Platinum" in Canada! You can't go much further up than that! All your hard work paid off!! Also read that you made a quick trip to Argentina to see your new girlfriend before you took off to Europe. Congratulations! Dolcemente, Joyce
Hi Michael:
I was just getting ready to buy your Album, "Crazy Love" when my Nephew told me he was sending it to me for my birthday! I am watching the mail daily for it. He is in Mexico City but ordered it from Amazon.com. i want to hear that dramatic version of "Cry Me a River"!! That David Foster knows how to sell a song, as do you! What a winning combination! Carinosamente, Joyce
Dear Tommy:
I am so proud of Michael!! He has worked so hard all these years and it is paying off at long last. He has won so many awards along the way but I think this "latest thing" of going to the top at Billboard and going double platinum in Canads is awesome in less than a week! It has set a record. Where will he go from here? I am also glad to see that you are keeping the Website. No one could do it better than you! I check it every day. As I have said before, "Keep on Keeping on"!! Fondly, Joyce
Hey Michael:
It is about time that the US mags started recognizing and complimenting you!! I noticed that you appeared in "People" 2 wks. in a row. This last one commenting that you were the "Sexiest Man of the Week"! Where have they been that they haven't noticed that before? Good Grief! I think that the US music community is just jealous of you, what else could it be? Anyway, congratulations for all the recent attention. Take care, Joyce
Michael:
I just read you latest comments from London and frankly, I am surprised! Did you have to say them just when you have reached the very top of your career!! It probably won't hurt you now too much. You are a great performer, no one can take that from you. Like you always say, "I am just being honest!" And it is your business!! We tend to put people up on a pedestal but they are only human!! I know you are under a lot of pressure most of the time, away from your family and loved ones......it must be tough! I only wish you a happy life and continued success!! I still love your beautiful voice! Good luck, Joyce
Michael:
I forgot to mention that I was waiting for you to show up on the Rachael Ray show today (the 28th) but it was Harry Conick Jr. instead, your inspiration. I knew you both wouldn't be on the show together. This would have a perfect time for you to meet him. Harry Conick is very talented and a nice person but he just doesn't have the same appeal as you. The women didn't go "crazy" when he came on like they do you. Perhaps because he is married and has children! Anyway, they showed you singing to a woman who is PG so I guess you will be on at a later date. I will try to catch it. Later then, Joyce
Hi Michael
It is my mums 40th Birtday on the day you are performing in Bormingham at the LG Arena and i think she would love it if you could mention it when you are there because she really likes your music. PLease.... From Francesca Age 8
Dear Michael:
I just heard you sing on the "Michael Buble Portugal" album and you have the most beautiful voice in the world! Please, please don't stop singing that way! It would be such a loss! Remember that is what made you famous, the love songs and the Standards. I still say that "You and I" is the loveliest song that you have ever sung or ever will sing!!! Michael, I have never seen you slimmer or trimmer, you look great, rested and healthy. Take care of yourself....if you don't, who will. Dolcemente, Joyce
Dear Michael:
I read that you had therapy after your break up with Emily. I am so glad that you did, that is the best thing that you could have done! You are a good person, a phenominal singer and entertainer but just need more confidence in yourself. I have observed that for a long time. Everyone loves you and only wants the best for you!! I will pray that God will hold you in the palm of His hand! God Bless you, Joyce
Hi Michael:
Saw you on the David Letterman show and it was hilarious! You sang those crazy songs with such perfection, don't know how you did it! I think Dave was quite impressed with you as was the audience. Don't they know that you are a perfectionist? Then saw you on Rachael Ray the ssme day. That was quite a treat. Also saw a bunch of videos on Luisana from Argentina. She is a beautiful girl there is no doubt. Hope that your careers don't conflict too much. I also noticed that she was in France with you lately. Glad that she has learned to speak English. You seem very happy. Your new album seems to have taken the world by storm! But you must be used to that by now, how many awards have you won? All those pseudo critics must be eating their words about now. And as the saying goes, "That is a good thing"!! What a phenominal performer you are! Try not to overdo, that is one of your failings! You have a lot in front of you this year! Abrazos, Joyce
Hi Michael:
I pulled up some more videos of your interviews in Europe. My you were on everyone's shows and programs. I never saw so many! Loved you hosting the Paul Grady Show, you were a natural. Also pulled up more videos on Lu, she is positively beautiful! It is no wonder that you got "smitten" with her. Who wouldn't? I have never seen a more gorgeous couple!! You with your dark hair and her with her honey blond hair, you are knock outs! I hope that this works out for you two. It is too soon to tell... Abrazos, Joyce
Querido Michael:
You absolutely blew my mind with your X-Factor performance of "Cry Me a River". I am at a complete loss for words!! I watched it about 10 times and still got "goose bumps" each time. You really put your heart and soul in that song. I keep saying that you can't get any better and then you go and DO IT! Your voice was so mellow and beautiful. Is it true that you have to lose a love to be able to sing like you do? If so, you must have had many losses. You have so much love to give, it is hard to contain it. You might say that you love, "the whole world" and they love you back. Abrazos, Joyce
Michael:
I just saw you on the Australian Idol as a judge. How great is that singer, Stan Walker. You were so nice to him and complimentary. That is the sign of a great person. To be able to stand there and say that he is a better singer than you. BUT this not true, no one is a better singer than you!!!!! He is just another good singer but can't hold a candle to you. It was so generous of you to ask the Hit Man to come hear him. Listen Michael, there are all kind of singers......western, opera, crooners, pop, and some of them are very good. But no one has what you have... that beautiful, sensitive voice that must have come from Heaven, your personality and good looks besides. I would rather have one of your CD's than 100 CD's of Stan's. Just keep on being the entertainer that you are and forget the rest..... Abrazos, Joyce
Hi Michael,
My goodness gracious sake alive, you are all over the place!!! Everywhere I look you are appearing on someone's show here and abroad. You have to be the most popular guest ever, we all know you are the best singer!! I wish that Kelly Ripa had shut up and let you talk more, you are so much funnier than she is. When you say something a little "off color", it comes off so funny but when she does it, it is just plain vulgar. I loved your appearance on the NY lighting of the Christmas tree. I could tell that you were about to shed a tear when you sang to the soldiers. What a sentimental time, it was just beautiful! Michael, you are on top of the world now, you are getting everything you deserve. All those years and all that work, I don't know how you did it. You must be a very strong person physically and emotionally!! Your parents did a wonderful time raising you.....they should be congratulated. We should not leave out your grandpa, he is so cute and good looking too. Your looks come from him and your parents, what a beautiful family! I would like to see more pictures of your sisters. They were certainly pretty when they were little. Now you are going with a very beautiful girl, she is breathtaking! I hope that she is loving and good to you. It is difficult when you are a beautiful popular actress....you tend to be selfish and conceited. But you say she is a "good soul" and that is a good thing. Are you going to be home for Christmas and is she going to be there too? Maybe you can divide the time, Christmas in Vancouvr and New Years in Argentina. Michael, what is the band on your left finger? I have never seen a ring on any of your fingers before. Is it a friendship ring? It doesn't seem to be gold or silver. I know she is a very famous actress in Argentia, is she able to travel with you? I still say, "Cry Me a River" is sensational and so powerful! I play it a lot and get goose bumps every time. You seem to be having the time of life!! I am so happy for you. I love the sound of the cellos, they are so dramatic! Dolcemente, Joyce
Hi again, Michael:
I forgot, in my letter, to say that you were a complete knockout in the tux that you wore on your X File performance when you sang, "Cry Me a River". I think that your voice, your looks and that gorgeous music has got to be an Academy Award performance. It was the best ever!!!! By the way, I like your new suits but PLEASE leave those "torn" jeans at home. It just doesn't compute!! It doesn't make any sense, Michael. You are not proving anything, really! Time to let you go, otherwise you are doing a great job!! Abrazos, Joyce
Hi There Michael:
My goodness, you are everywhere. Saw you on the Ophrah show recently. I loved seeing your pretty mother. She was so cute, I can see where you get your personality and looks. You are very much alike! I love your new style but please, please Michael, don't stop singing the soft Standards. No one can sing them like you do!! That is what made you famous, like I said before, mix it up.....some pop but don't drop the soft love songs, please!!!! You certainly have been on everyone's shows from Canada to Australia to Europe! Never saw anyone so popular. I can see that you are very happy these days with your music and with Luisiana. She is so beautiful and talented! You are the most handsome couple around! It is obvious that you are very much in love! I think you needed to regroup and take a good look at yourself the past 2 years. Everything has been going so fast. I had suggested that you take it easier for a while and that is what you did. Good for you! Congratulations, you deserve to take a big bow! Dolcemente, Joyce
Dear Michael:
Well, you did it......you got engaged. It told you one of those South American girls was going to "nab" you. I don't think you are disappointed. She seems very sweet and it is obvious she is in love with you and you with her! But who can blame her, you are quite a "catch". I know she will be good to you because that is how those girls are.....very loving and devoted. She said she wanted to have a baby at 23, so you have your work cut out for you. How do your Folks like her? What's not to like, she is loving, beautiful and very talented. You are the best looking couple around.....can you just imagine who beautiful your children will be? It is about time that you marry and have a family. You are so family oriented anyway. Don't let your careers ruin everything!!! Congratulations! Joyce
Hi Michael:
I have been watching your "Daily Buble" like I do every day. How can one person be on so many interviews and shows and perform in-between? Everyone wants to interview you. It showed some of your old shows like the one at the Wilton Hotel (my favorite) when you were on PBS. I love the old songs, they are great! And the way you sang before you got so big, beautiful songs and your voice was heavenly. I like jazzy songs but tempered with the romantic ones. Please, please Michael, don't stop singing them. What a loss that would be!! The duet with Pasini was a classic!! I think I have it on one of my DVDs. I hope so, your voices blended beautifully together. I have never heard a better duet. How are you a Lu getting along? She seems so sweet and has such a great sense of humor. Don't rush into anything, take your time to get to know each other......better to be safe than sorry. Dolcemente, Joyce
Hey, Michael:
I just brought up your tour dates and I noticed that you are coming to Houston, Dallas and San Antonio but not AUSTIN, TEXAS. What gives, why are you skipping us? We are the "Live Music Capital of the World" and we have over 50,000 students at the Univ. of Texas who would love to see you perform!! Beside that we have that big "FRANK IRWIN CENTER" that you would fill to capacity! I am so disappointed, I was going to buy a front row seat and wear a "white ribbon" so you would notice me. Remember the story about your dad and his asking your fans to wear a white ribbon. That was so funny!! Please do what you can to get your promotor to include Austin, Texas also. You have been here twice in the past and I missed you both times. You know by all my letters, that I am your #1 fan in Texas!! Please Michael, if you read this, come to AUSTIN, TEXAS! You will disappoint a lot of your fans if you don't!! Thank you, Joyce PS: Tommy, if you have any influence over Michael ask him to come to Austin, Texas. We would love to see him!!!
Dear Tommy:
My last letter to you didn't send. So I will try again. I noticied in Michael's tour dates that he is coming to Houton, Dallas and San Antonio but not to AUSTIN, TEXAS. Why is he skipping us? We have this big wonderful Frank Irwin Center where he can entertain us and 50,000 UT students who all love him!! I don't understand it!! Do you have any influence over him, if you do, tell him that he will have a sell out again like he did the last time. His songs are on the radio all day long!! We are the "Live entertainment Capital of the world". Austin is so into music!!! Everytime that I mention, Michael Buble, people say, "He is phenominal, I wonder why he doesn't come here more often?" You know that I am Michael's #1 fan in Texas! I have watched the Olympics every day and enjoyed it when Michael showed up even more. I know he is so proud of Vancourver! It is truly a beautiful city and I would like to visit there someday. I hope he never moves away, like to Argentina where his girl lives. He is a Canadian all the way. Please Tommy, see what you can do. Would you get back to me on this, please? Fondly, Joyce
Hi Tommy:
I assume that you don't answer letters written in your comment section! Because I have written you twice about Michael not coming to Austin, Texas on his tour. I thought you would answer me! I guess we are nothing compared to the new arena in Dublin that holds over 75,000 people. But we follow his career and buy his DVDs too. We feel slighted! I am going to give up trying.....think it is a lost cause! As ever, Joyce
Dear Michael:
The Olympics in Vancouver were terrrific, the best ever. I am sure your presence there really helped. So proud that you got to carry the torch part way. And your singing at the final perfomance put the icing on the cake!! I have voted for you so you can get the Juno Award. Congrats on getting the Irish award for Best International Singer. You should have received the Brits Award for that last year also. Maybe you will get it this year if you are nominated, you deserve it. Who can top you?? You will soon be starting on your US Tour, it will kick your touring off. Take care of yourself, get plenty of rest between perfomances. You owe that to Lusiana, you have want to be well when you two get married. "Cry me a River" is still ringing i my ears, what a phenominal performance!! Abrazos, Joyce
Dear Michael:
I have just read the write up of your first perfomance in Florida. It wasn't very complimentary about your singing. What is wrong? Are you trying a new image? He makes you sound like you are getting a little big headed and "careless" with your singing. I can't believe that after all your professionalism! And why the vulgar words? That doesn't become you, Michael, anybody can be vulgar!! I don't like you when you are that way.....when are you going to realize that you can be funny and not vulgar? You have the world by the tail so don't take advantage of your popularity. I'll bet Lusiana and your mother don't like it, I know I don't. You have a lot of touring to do in the next year, don't get off to a bad start. If you are trying to change your image, try another way, this is not becoming. Of course, the reporter might be way off base and you didn't do these things. I hope not!! You have such a phenominal voice and bacically are such a good guy, don't change that. Don't let your fans down!! You didn't become a world singer by acting this way. Still a fan, Joyce
Dear Michael,
I just read another write up about your concert in Fla. It was very complimentary so I guess the other reporter was just jealous of you. I am glad that it was such a success. I'll admit one thing, you put on the best show possible for your fans and they love you for it. I never saw anyone work so hard at their craft. I wish you were coming to Austin, Michael. I know it will be a sellout. Can't you try to cram in one more visit in Texas for just one night? I would like to see you because I missed you before...We are having SXSW performing here for 2 wks. They say that it is the best city in the US for entertainment. Just ask Sandra Bullock, she lives here and loves it!! Hope that your tour is going well so far! Is Luisiana with you? She is such a beautiful girl!! Take care..... Dolcemente, Joyce
Dear Michael:
Don't pay attention to the two write ups from Cleveland and Pittsburg. They wouldn't like you if they "liked you"! I lived in Cleveland and it was said that they were the toughest crowd to please in the US. And Pittsburg, how can a coal mining town critique "music"? So there you are, Michael, they are nothing to worry about. How can millions of people be wrong? These pseudo music critcs should go back to writing about sports and the economy. I disagree with them, you have the greatest voice around and that is what draws the crowds to your concerts. It is just plain jealousy. I think if you were to read some of the reviews on Sinatra, Darin, etc., back then, you would find the same critical remarks. That is what sells papers! I read where Ireland has nominated you as the "Best International Singer" this year. And you know how much the Irish know about singing. And they tell it like it is. So I just put it all down to just "plain jealousy" and I don't want you to let it upset you. I don't think it will, you know how popular you are! So just "keep on keeping on"!! Dolcemente, Joyce
Hi Michael:
I have it all figured it out. When I read a review of a performance, I can tell you ahead of time whether it was a male reporter or a female one. When it is highly critical, it is always a man and when it is complimentary, it is a woman. Ever once in a while, a genuine male music critic will write one that is highly complimentary. He is not threatened by you. I find this highly amusing! I saw you on PBS last night during "Special Performances". It was your "Michael Buble Meets Madison Square Garden". I will say one thing, I never saw any performer knock themselves out more that you did!! If you never entertained again, that can go down in the records book as your most eneregetic performance in history! How do you do it and still sing smoothly? Wow, what a perfomance! But my favorite performance was in 2005 when you did your first PBS special out of LA. Every song was a classic! It had such good taste and was a lot of fun too!! Hope you are getting adequate rest between perfomances. Abrazos, Joyce
Hi Michael.
Saw you on David Letterman's show when you said that this tour across the US was a real drag! I knew you were going to wear yourself out before it was all over. It is going just great but if you get any more popular, something is going to blow up!! Hope it isn't your engagement! You look real good, handsome and trim but a person can take just so much traveling. Hope that AC is not going to ruin your voice! Are your parents traveling with you? I noticed that your Mother and Grandpa were along at several places. I think she is worried about you traveling so much. Can't you slow the pace down some before you go off to Europe? I worry about you! I'm glad that you are preserving your voice by abstaining. People expect too much from you, can't you say "no" once in a while. You need a good week's rest right about now. I still love "Cry me a River", that is so dramatic! Take care and God Bless, Joyce
Michael:
Just read where you won "Album of the Year" at the Junos. Congratulations, you certainly deserved it. But Michael, I was surprised and shocked by the remark you made when you said that if Justin Bierber had been there that you would have said to him........I won't repeat it, it was too horrible. Surely, you didn't say that! I can't believe that a man of your fame and stature would think he had to make that remark. Surely you were misquoted!!! You are so far above that. It is something that a 15 year old high school would have said. As a loyal devoted fan of yours, I feel that I have the right to comment on this. I don't have anymore to say, I am speechless!! Joyce
Michael:
You seem to be making a good name for yourself in England. I just read about your recent performance. I'll bet they enjoyed your warming the place up with your music and charm! It is such a cold, wet place. It is starting up again......the long tour, but you like being on stage. You are a born performer with the greatest talent!! Take care and try to rest inbetween! Dolcemente, Joyce
Hey Michael:
You really were a hit in England with your program, "An audience with Michael Buble". They really loved you. I loved seeing it on "the Daily Buble". It was a good video. Your charm is so natural and down to earth. No wonder people love you. I enjoyed the songs you selected especially "Georgia' and "Cry Me a River". I wish you had sung "You and I", it is so beautiful. It is my favorite!! "Hold On and Home" were great too. Oh, they were all so special as you are! Hope you get some rest while you are home!! I wish you had put Austin, Texas on your tour but I see it is not on it. San Antonio and Dallas are. I wanted to go see you, I live in Austin. I was surprised that you weren't coming here because we are the "Music Capital of the World". And have 55,000 students at the University of Texas. They probably would have all tried to buy tickets. We will miss you, Michael. Dolcemente, Joyce
Dear Michael:
You are "knocking them dead" again! What else is new? I don't see how night after night you continue to do that. Don't you run out of ideas? I still love the Standards best, your voice sounds like it comes from Heaven. I know you still include them but not enough for me. Also know that you have to reach all type of audiances to be fair. And you like to reach out with different kind of songs. Thousands of people couldn't be wrong so you must be doing something right. Like the man on that radio program said, "You are better than Sinatra". He was my favorite singer until I heard you. Amazing, simple amazing!! And you are better looking and have a better personality. What's not to like? Hope you and your family have a wonderful 4th of July. Give them my best regards. Dolecemente, Joyce
Hi Michael:
You surely knocked them dead in San Antonio, Texas. See, I told you they liked you in Texas. I am so disappointed that you didn't come to Austin, Texas this time. I wanted to see you! Maybe you can put us on your tour next year because we like you here too. I want to congratulate you on having the largest audience on your tour in San Antonio, Texas. Isn't it a great fun town? Glad you spoke to them in Spanish. I speak Spanigh and use it everytime that I am around Spanish speaking people. It is a beautiful language. I think it is time that you get some rest, isn't it? Your world tour is so extensive this time. You don't want to get sick again like you did the time before. Good luck and God Bless. Dolcemente, Joyce PS: My other letter didn't get sent, hope I am not repeating myself.
Hi Michael:
I have been listening to some recordings of Vio Damone. They are on his Wedsite. He writes a few lines now and then and says although he is retired, he is going to entertain at the Kravis Performing Arts Center in Palm Beach, Florida on 1-22-2011. I think it is a one night performance. He had a stroke about 7 years ago but is doing well. He has such a magnificent voice. He sings the standards. You sound so much like him when you sing them. I used to like him better than Sinatra or Bennett but now I like you. You also have a magnificent voice. Good luck on the rest of your tour. Dolcemente, Joyce |
